"Gurong Pilipino: Turo mo. Kinabukasan ko"

The National Teacher's Month held on September 5 - October 5, is a movement led by Metro-bank Foundation, Department of Education and Various multi-sectional groups which recognized  Filipino Teachers and educators and their contributions in shaping the student's future.

The theme for the Teachers' Month 2018 is "Gurong Pilipino: Turo mo, Kinabukasan ko" which means that every lesson, every words and actions, every discussion, and in every learnings and teachings of the teachers will have a very great impact on shaping the student's future. As a student, we can see how hard it is to be a teacher. To stand all day. To talk all day even if some of the students are not listening. To make the students learn about certain things. We can see all the sacrifices and the efforts of the teachers every single day. They teach us manners. They give us knowledge. They teach us how to live life.

For all the sacrifices that the teachers gave, we know that a simple thank you will not be enough to pay all of your hardworks but we really are thankful and grateful in a million times. We may not say this to you nor show it to you but we ensure you that in our hearts you are the best! Continue teaching and inspiring students to strive harder and to not give up on what they want to achieve.
